Objective: Create a mobile and desktop app for an apartment-searching company called Apt Hunter
The following is a process flow of what I did to create this app:
- Research demographic (college students, young adults and middle-aged adults) and find out the type of criteria they looked for in apartment rental apps
- Drew and laid out a flowchart on Whimsical based on the behavioral patterns of this demographic when using an app like this and their process flow of engagement
- Created a wireframe of the app on Whimsical to map out how all the pages will look like with image assets and CTA button placeholders
- Designed a high fidelity version of the app with Sketch applying all the final imagery and copy on to the pages
- Prototyped the app on Marvel to visualize how a user can click on links that will direct them to certain pages
- Once everything was approved, I used Zeplin to gather all the necessary data for hand-off to web developers
